Leah Solita Mangum, of Solita Designs, is a multi-media artist from the blue ridge mountains of western North Carolina.  She is the third generation of Mangum potters. All ceramic items are made in her home studio and the family studio located in Weaverville just outside of Asheville. She received a BFA in Fine Art focusing in painting from Appalachian State University. Leah also creates jewelry with gemstones, brass, leather, clay and other organic elements. Solita Design's stoneware is durable, food safe and made for everyday use. 

Her items are available  in the Mangum Pottery Studio on Main Street in Weaverville, and some of them are available on this website. Some of the items are one of a kind, so they will say "Sold Out". You can call our shop and we can let you know what pieces are available.
